 This combo is a lightweight and affordable alternative to the 028B tripod that is typically paired with the 13.2-pound capacity 501HDV head. With a maximum capacity of 13.3 lbs., the Bogen Manfrotto 055XDB (formerly 3011BN) tripod is capable of providing solid support for giant binoculars. The 501HDV has an internal counter-balance spring that makes it a great choice for our heavier binoculars. Maximum height is about 76 inches. The 501HDV/055XDB combo is recommended for our binoculars up to 10 pounds, including the Signature 85mm and Gemini WP 100mm models. |
