| This is the optional fork mount and wood surveyor tripod combo for our 70mm and 100mm binocular telescopes. It is our recommended mounting solution for these instruments, providing affordable stability. The fork mount is heavily constructed from cast aluminum, and is designed to keep the center of gravity of either binocular telescope balanced for ease of movement. Other features include adjustable tension on both axes and attractive flat black finish. The fork mount is designed with an integrated 1/4"-20 threaded stud to connect to our binocular telescopes. The aluminum tripod is the perfect match for the fork mount, and features rubber-tipped legs and a built-in spreader for additional support. The combo's fully-extended height to the mounting shoe is approximately 52 inches when the fork mount is at a 45 degree altitude. Maximum capacity is 16 lbs., and maximum instrument width is 9.7 inches.
