The 20x80 LW’s lightness means that this big binocular can be mounted on a variety of medium-duty tripods that would normally be unsuitable for so large an instrument. Every Garrett Optical binocular must pass a rigorous 14-point inspection that insures a high degree of both optical and mechanical performance, including accurate collimation. Any necessary adjustments are performed by a highly experienced technician on a U.S. Navy Mark V Collimator.
