The 90º-angled precision helical focusers make this design much easier on the neck than a conventional straight-through binocular, and it’s light weight of just 8.9-pounds makes it fast and easy to set up. You get the best features of a small rich-field telescope – such as 90-degree viewing and variable magnification – without sacrificing the three-dimensional viewing experience of a binocular.

The flat-field objective lenses deliver high-contrast views of deep space objects and solar system targets alike – from quick looks at the moon to observation of comets, the Garrett® GT70-90 binocular telescope can do it all . The included 20x and 25x proprietary eyepieces feature wide and sharp 63° apparent fields of view. All air-to-glass surfaces in the air-spaced achromatic objective lenses and the prisms are broadband multi-coated, and the precisely-polished prisms are crafted from high-index BaK4 optical glass. The cast-aluminum binocular body features an attractive and durable glossy white finish. Theoptionalfork mount and aluminum surveyor tripod combo is a good match for this instrument, but you can also use any heavy-duty tripod or parallelogram mount with a standard ¼-20 threaded mounting stud. Included with each binocular telescope is a high-quality aluminum-trimmed carrying case. Each binocular telescope is individually tested for collimation as part of our 14-point inspection, and any necessary adjustments are performed by a highly-experienced technician.
