This Orion Moon Filter reduces glare so you can see more lunar detail and surface features. Most moon filters sold with telescopes are only about 13% transmission, and unless your telescope is of large aperture, this can produce frustratingly dim views. This filter allows transmission of only 25% of the reflected light, providing just the right amount of brightness for high-power work. Screws into a threaded 1.25" eyepiece barrel, or any binocular with standard filter threads. Each filter comes with its own padded plastic case.
