| The Universal Astronomics Macrostar altitude-azimuth mount is a compact choice for solidly mounting giant binoculars. When combined with the #03227 Medium Bino Attachment, the 25-lb. capacity Microstar Basic can handle any of our 100mm and 110mm binoculars. We recommend using the Bogen 3246 tripod (for binoculars up to 100mm) or the Bogen 3058 tripod (for 110mm and larger binoculars) with the Macrostar, because of their geared adjustable-height center columns. The adjustable guide handle is a highly recommended accessory.
